Looking for a close to perfect incarnation of an authentic schnitzel restaurant? Carved wooden chairs Traditionally dressed staff Craft beer typical to the region Wines and liqueurs are also available. Fun fact, the menu holds a penalty fee warning for adding capers or anchovies to any dish ;)

Dropped in on a packed evening without a booking and the staff was welcoming and adjusted to make space for us. The restaurant is country-styled and cosy. The pork schnitzel is crispy, comes in huge portions and delicious. Sides of sauerkraut and potato salad paired well with the main dish. Many happy faces here, ours included.

Do you want the real wienerschnitzel then you are in the right place. The ambience at place is happy and joyful. Good for a dinner with friends rather than romantic dinner. The schnitzel i huge and very good and we will be back.

I would say the place isn't that bad. Although it was famous for its schnitzels back in the day, it now seems to lack. I suspect they changed the owner. The fries weren't salted and tasted like they were reheated. The schnitzel was lukewarm, and the skin of it was falling apart. For 900 kronor, I expected better.

Bokt the table for 8 from 17 to close. The server came to us at 20:00 and said we have to go. They need table for another group. I protest and after a while it was OK to stay. And other thing: they do not take cash 🤬. We have been going to that restaurant since mid 70. Not any more.

Meat lovers meet your next challenger. If you want authentic Austrian food say no more! Treat yourself with a super tasty and huge Schnitzel done the way it is supposed to be. No disappointment anywhere. Even if you are preferring to live on a meat free diet, treat yourself with a cheese schnitzel and Kraut. The original Austria Stiegl Beer is a delight too. Non alcoholic Almdudler is another great alternative. You should plan your visit and book a table before, otherwise is there a good chance that you will be sent away again. It's a pretty popular place.

Nice rustic decor! Good beer and good food! Their schnitzel was extremely soft and moist (doesn't make you feel like you are eating fried stuff). The sauerkraut was kind of tasteless and not really sour - would avoid that. The wurst platter is basically just cold cut meats not really wursts. The service was really nice and friendly. Suggestion - you need to make a reservation for this place.

Favourite place for schnitzel in Stockholm for sure. Good tasty batter that's crispy and delicious, nearly bubbly. World class potato sides. I don't go anywhere else in Sweden for schnitzel.
